2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid: trims, prices and buying one

The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid charges from a wall outlet or charger and drives on electricity for shorter trips, with the gas engine taking over after that. Toyota rates the SE at 40 mpg and 101 MPGe combined.

The trims, with Toyota's base MSRP

From toyota.com, 14 October 2026, before Toyota's delivery, processing and handling fee.

  • SE, $41,500: 18-in. black sport wheels, 12.3-in. digital gauges, 10.5-in. touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Woodland, $45,300: all-terrain tires, raised roof rails with cross bars, Rigid Industries LED fog lights
  • XSE, $47,200: 20-in. black sport wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, 12.9-in. touchscreen
  • GR SPORT, $48,500: 20-in. black wheels, GR-designed bumpers, GR-designed rear spoiler

What to decide before you ask for prices

  • Where you'll charge. A plug-in makes most sense if you can charge at home or work.
  • Plug-in or regular hybrid. The regular RAV4 starts about $10,000 lower.
  • Colors. List two or three you'd accept. It widens the search.
